Can you maintain and improve our existing ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Quality Management System and ensure our product introductions are compliant to established standards?

Our procurement & sourcing team is responsible for identifying and approaching new suppliers and maintaining the relationship with our key suppliers. 

Together with our procurement team you will be responsible to plan, coordinate, and direct our quality program designed to ensure that our ISO9001 audited quality control system is improved and maintained. Furthermore, you will ensure that our products are compliant with established standards and regulations.

What are you going to do? 

Overall the focus of this role is twofold. Firstly, you are key in ensuring new product introductions are in line with our quality standard and established standards, including all required documentation (CE-marking, country specific marks, RoHS, etc.). Secondly, you are responsible for maintaining and improving our ISO 9001 certified quality control system.


To excel at this position you must be able to communicate well with others, have Quality Management Systems experience with a vast knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Formulate and maintain quality objectives complementary with the organization’s strategic direction, and its defined policies and goals.
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation to assure our product standards are met.
  • Assure proper QMS documentation is drafted and/or collected and maintained throughout the organization.
  • Assure that problems and/or defects are fixed and not just reported.
  • Keep management team abreast of significant quality related issues or developments
  • Ensure an Internal Audit process is maintained and provides constructive feedback to management.
  • Perform safety analysis, initiate and oversee (mandatory)improvements and manage compliance with safety legislation and regulations
  • Maintain working knowledge of government and industry quality standards to ensure the Sonic organization continues to be - amongst others ISO 9001 – compliant
  • Provide leadership to technical sales support in performing service at high level
  • Product data management
  • Assessing, posting and monitoring specific customer orders (VW)


What is on your CV?
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical-related field; with more than 5 years related experience and/or training
  • Computer literacy in basic programs required (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • In depth knowledge of product compliancy (European guidelines CE marking, country specific marks, such as GS-mark and RoHS guidelines, etc.).
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in internal auditing and quality system ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
  • Fluency in English is required (verbally and writing), proficiency in German, Taiwanese and/or Mandarin are considered a plus.
  • Certified quality auditor is considered a plus
  • Experience in the Automotive tooling or technical industry is considered a plus
